My interest in wedding photography came after I was asked to do one of my best friends wedding a few years ago. I loved being a fly on the wall...and it was amazing to be able to capture her special day through my lens. She loved what I did as she felt the pictures I took told a story of how her day unfolded!

Pretty soon I was photographing more and more of my friends weddings...and I loved doing each one of them!
I offer a fun, non-traditional approach to my photography and I like to put my clients at ease. I am very passionate about taking pictures and I have an eye for detail with an artistic flair.
To me, it’s all about creating your special day through images where you can look back and remember your special day over and over again.

Background
I have been learning the arts of photography for the past 15 years. I also studied black and white photography (including dark room developing) at the University of Central Lancashire.
I currently work for Dee Carpenter PR and I do all their in-house photography and design work. You can see some examples on www.deecarpenter.com. As well as photography and design work I also plan and organise corporate events.

I have always worked with SLR cameras and I have only gone digital about 2 years ago. I still have a strong ethos that the images I take are as pure as they can be and I will only do minor retouches via software packages!
